Moara Domneasca is a small wheat and maize flour mill in Romania. The company was looking to increase its presence in the market and has hired me to create a logotype and package design for its products.

I began by researching the Romanian market and the history of the Moara Domneasca brand. They were able to identify several key elements that could be used to shape the design, such as traditional Romanian color palettes, the company’s commitment to sustainability and quality, and the importance of the mill’s rural location. then I created a logotype that was inspired by traditional Romanian motifs, such as a wheat stalk, a mill wheel, and a sun. The logotype was designed to be simple and easily recognizable and to evoke a sense of quality, sustainability, and rural heritage.

For the package design, I decided to use natural materials, such as wood and recycled paper, to reinforce the brand’s commitment to sustainability and quality.

I worked closely with the client to ensure that the final package design and logotype met their expectations and conveyed the values that they wanted to communicate. The result was a logotype and package design that successfully conveyed the company’s commitment to quality and sustainability, while also reflecting the traditional Romanian motifs that are associated with the brand.
